Spatial Medicine Teacher - Pilates & Yoga
The first time I remember feeling good in my body was at the age of 17 when I found ballet and, unlike with sports, it seemed to listen when I asked it to do something. I felt like “one” with my body as I experienced my whole self through movement, and quickly fell in love with my new awareness. However, an ankle injury from childhood eventually made me stop dancing, and so I found my way to yoga where I learned that when I connected with my body in order to feel good, versus perform well, I felt better in the rest of my life too. My curiosity about the mind/body connection and my desire to learn more led me through multiple trainings and schools of movement and meditation, but of those schools, Karin Locher and the faculty teachers at The Centre For Spatial Medicine were the most influential. Not only did they teach me to understand human anatomy and physical structure the way I always wanted to--but they offered me the tools to see the two way street between mind and body more clearly and continue learning from that connection--in 2018 I proudly joined The Centre For Spatial Medicine as a faculty teacher. When teaching, I’m most interested in what matters to each of my students and how I can help them along that path. I explain how and why so that they can understand their anatomy and how to think about it more clearly to create a change. I aim to help each student take that awareness with them so they can effectively integrate our work into their everyday lives.
I began my yoga journey more than 20 years ago. A former dancer and athlete, I identified a new way to move, breathe and build strength through yoga. Later, as an expectant mother, yoga became an important part of my daily routine. During my second pregnancy I practiced regularly and successfully delivered through a VBAC. At home, with my husband and 2 kids we strive to create a space of health, love and joy.
My practice and teaching is an amalgamation of my studies of Iyengar, Ashtanga, and most recently Robert Boustany’s Pralaya yoga and Karin Locher’s Spatial Medicine. I love to find strength and energy in movement; and alongside yoga, I am an avid runner, tennis player, and swimmer. In all these activities, I focus on the subtleties of body mechanics to increase strength, space and ease within my body.
I teach yoga to share what I know so that you can find the space and freedom of movement in your body. I teach to learn from you because I believe in always remaining curious. I teach to inspire proper alignment, strength and ease of movement to leave you feeling great. And I teach to connect with one another, a guiding life principle of mine.
Guest Senior Iyengar Instructor
Rajashree is the founder of Shriyog Institute in Pune and one of the senior disciples of Guruji BKS Iyengar. She trained with Iyengar at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI), since 1993. She was privileged to work and train with guruji's son Prashant Iyengar and daughter Dr. Geeta Iyengar. Her mission is share the subject of Yoga through asana and pranayama as taught by Guruji BKS Iyengar. In her classes, Rajeshree follows the principles of constitution, seasonal conduct, and daily conduct as stated by Ayurveda and spirituality.

Michelle Gregovic, ERYT500, YACEP, has been studying and teaching yoga throughout the Houston area for over 23 years. Guided by her love of teaching and her insatiable curiosity for healing the body, she sought out additional certification in holistic health consulting, Thai Yoga, and the Yamuna® Method, including Yamuna® Body Rolling and Foot Fitness. With an ever-present focus on the breath, she hopes to educate and empower each person to take their healing into their own hands. Michelle offers a teaching style that is lighthearted and infused with detailed and practical instruction to help students find a safe practice that is suited to their individual needs.
Michelle graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in Speech Communications. She is grateful for the loving support of her husband and three kids, two cats and a dog. She currently lives in Katy and teaches classes, workshops and individual sessionsthroughout the greater Houston area.
Margaret is a certified Isha Yoga Teacher. The Isha certification process is 1750 hours of intensive yoga practice and teachings in India. A yoga teacher before this undertaking she deepened her understanding of Classical Hatha Yoga.

Margaret is also a certified health coach. She believes we are our habits and do not need to suffer as we age. Awareness and habit changes can elevate you to love life and use your body as a stepping stone rather than a hurdle.

Kay Westcott has been teaching yoga for 23 years at various studios and fitness centers in the greater Houston area. She has mentored her yoga teaching with the legendary Billie Gollnick (formerly of Houston) and has taken yoga training and workshops from Erich Schiffmann of Santa Monica, Ca. Winner of Houston Press Best of Award: Best Yoga Instructor 2006. Winner of the Indian Consulate Yoga Service Award 2015.

Anne was introduced to Yoga in 2005 after working in the Fitness Industry for years. When experiencing not only the physical, but also the emotional and spiritual effects of Yoga, her whole perspective on how we can keep ourselves and each other healthy in every way was forever changed.
Anne's lighthearted teaching style has it's roots in her initial Anusara-inspired yoga teacher training, always keeping the Universal Principles of Alignment and the heart quality in mind. Anne combines elements from her continued and varied yoga teacher trainings with her intuitive sense for adding music and meditative themes, offering the students....
YHS Massage Therapist
Austin was born and raised in Houston and graduated from Bellaire High School in 2006. Austin graduated from the Avalon School of Massage in 2010 and since then has been in private practice. Austin has attended workshops throughout the United States and in Costa Rica and has nearly completed the requirements as a certified practitioner in Myofascial Release. In addition to Myofascial Release, Austin incorporates Swedish and deep tissue massage.
